Open Studios originated in the salons of 17th Century Paris where intellectuals gathered together to celebrate the creative mind.
An open studio is a studio or workroom that is open to all, where artistic or creative work takes place collaboratively. Artists and non-artists come together in the open studio to celebrate the social act of creative expression. An Open Studio is intended to foster creativity and encourage experimentation in a non-judgmental atmosphere of cultural exchange, conversation, encouragement, and freedom of expression.
In order to accommodate different needs, The Muse offers separate Open Studio Sessions for adults, families and youth.
· * All studio sessions MUST be scheduled prior to arrival. Space is limited, so make sure you sign-up ahead of time and save your spot!
